              Your might notice water dripping down from your roof and gutter sometimes during the day. This is normal as the solar heater was build to release some water and/or air when the pressure inside the solar heater build up due to heat. 

However, if the volume of water is high or the water dripping during the night. You might have a leakage on your solar heater. This leakage can be cause by over pressure that cause the welding joint, pipe, and so on to give away and start to leak. Replacing pressure temperature valve every 3 years can help to avoid over pressure issue.


Notes: Not replacing your pressure temperature valve every 3 years can cause permanent damage to your solar heater that might lead to leak.



Troubleshooting guide:
  1. If you have access to the solar heater.
  1. Check on the solar heater for leak.
  2. It is normal to have the pressure temperature valve is dripping water or flushing out water.

  1. If you do not have access to the solar heater.
  1. Close all water outlet in your house and check if the pump is running continuously or keep running on and off.
  2. If you pump keep running, there is a possibility that your solar heater is leaking, we suggest you reach out to us to solve your issue.
  3. During the night switch on one of the hot water outlet for 3 second and close it to realease pressure.
  4. Check for water dripping down from your gutter or roof.
  5. If there is water dripping down from your gutter or roof at midnight, there is a possibility that your solar heater is leaking, we suggest you reach out to us to solve your issue.
